Administering Batches
The Course Administrator (users with Course Management/ Administrative privileges) can enroll the participants, manage attendance, manage unit access, and review assessments. Unit-level access control enables Instructors to open up Units for learners in a progressive fashion or need basis.
Note: The user can perform the actions for the batch provided he has the required roles and permissions.
- To preview the batch, click on the Preview button.
- You can view the course name, author, period, category, sub-category, level, course structure, session schedule, prerequisites, and about the author.
- Click the Settings icon on the top right to enroll the learners, manage attendance, enroll units, etc.
Enroll new participants
The Course Administrator (users with Course Management/ Administrative privileges) can enroll new participants in the batch. Click the Settings icon and the Enrollments option to add new participants to the batch.
- Click the Enroll button, enter the participant names, and click the Continue button.
- Select the learners to enroll in the batch and click the Continue button.
- You can provide access to the required units.
- You can also search for participants using the search option.
- After giving access to the units, click on the Enroll Participants button.
- The enrolled participants will be displayed. You can view the participant’s name, email, unit enrolled, and actions.
- Click on the Progress icon to view the progress of the participant.
- Click on the Delete icon to delete the participant’s enrollment.
Enroll participants using QR code
Course Administrators can generate the session QR code for the Instructor-led courses. They can print the session QR code and display it outside the training room. During/After the instructor-led training, the participants can scan the QR code to record their attendance.
Manage Attendance
Click on the Settings icon and the Manage Attendance option to view and mark the learner’s attendance on the sessions conducted for the batch.
- You can check the learners for whom attendance needs to be marked and click the Save button.
Unit enrollments
The Course Administrator (users with Course Management/ Administrative privileges) can restrict the unit access to the required learners. Click the Settings icon and the Unit enrollments option to enroll the learners in the units.
- You can assign the units to learners by ticking the checkbox adjacent to the units and clicking on the Save button.
- Using this function, the Course Administrator (users with Course Management/ Administrative privileges) can provide access to the required units.
View assignments
The Course Administrator (users with Course Management/ Administrative privileges) can review the learners’ submission status of the assignments. Click on the Settings icon and select the View Assignments option.
- You may view the assignment name, unit name, and count of assignments submitted by the learner.
- Click on the assignment name to view the list of participants who have/have not submitted the assignment.
- You can also view the email ID, count of submissions, and status of the participant’s assignment.
View tests
The Course Administrator (users with Course Management/ Administrative privileges) can view the test participants, the number of attempts made, and the unit in which the test is included. Click on the Settings icon and the View tests option.
- The name of the tests, unit name, and number of attempts can be viewed.
- Click on the test name to view the list of participants who have/not attended the test.
Editing the batch
You may edit the batch details by clicking the Settings icon and the Edit option.
- Click the Save button to save the changes made.
Duplicate the batch
You can create a duplicate for the batch by clicking on the Settings icon and the Duplicate option.
- The duplicate copy of the batch will be displayed in the Batches page.
Completing the batch
Once the learners have completed learning the courses in the batch, you can mark the batch as complete. Click the Settings icon and the Mark as Complete option to mark the batch as complete.
- The completed batches are displayed in the Batches tab but are unavailable for enrolling learners.
Delete the batch
You can delete the batch by clicking the Settings icon and then the Delete option.
- A confirmation message appears, where you may click on the Yes, delete button to delete the batch.
- The deleted batches will not be listed in the Batches tab.
View Participants list
The Course Administrator (users with Course Management/ Administrative privileges) can track the learners assigned to the course and enroll new learners.
- Click on the batch name and click on the View participant list option.
- You can click on the View Participant list link to view the details of the participants enrolled in the course.
