- To encourage and enable microlearning, we have introduced learning snippets where the SMEs can post external reads, or any short learning items which can be consumed by learners. This will be retained in a repository if learners want to look up for the same in the future.

Restricted courses
- Useful when the course creator wants any course that they create to be visible only for selected departments/ teams. They can make such courses restricted under the “course visibility” option in the course settings page and select only those departments/ teams for which that has to be visible.
- Useful when the user wants to create custom teams and enroll such teams into the required courses. While enrolling, you can also decide whether to enroll only the existing members, future members, or both the existing and future members of the selected team.
- Useful when the organization wants to create fully customized user roles with the required permissions alone so that they have better control over who has access to what.
- Useful for the course creators to add an introduction to every unit in their courses so that it’s clear for the learners what they can expect in those units, before starting to access the learning materials in those.

- Mentors can create multiple learning objectives for a learning plan for each of their learners and assign courses and activities for achieving learning objectives. Learners are expected to complete the assigned courses and activities.
- Courses can be set as mandatory while assigning courses for individual learners.
- All users can add the available expertise tags to their profile (Provided the administrator has added expertise tags in the repository).
- Learners are allowed to see the four most recent upcoming sessions and assignments in their profile.
- Ability to export reports as CSV.

- Learners can see the progress of an ongoing course and see all completed units.

Group enrollment
- Admin is enabled to enroll one or more departments into a course.
- Admin is enabled to set a course as mandatory while assigning it to a department.
- Admin is enabled to see the departments in Skill Lake along with the members in it. Also, they can see the list of courses assigned to the departments and assign new courses.
- Learners – List of all learners with a specific number of courses that they have enrolled for and completed.
- Course summary – List of all courses with the number of learners – enrolled, yet to start, and in progress.
- Enrollments – List of learners in a selected course with their current status, progress percentage, etc.
- The Instructor’s role is rewired in such a way that once someone is added as an instructor of a course, Skill Lake automatically assigns that role to him/ her. As this eliminates the need of assigning Instructor roles to a user, the role is removed from InfinCE as part of the cleanup.
- Unit tagging for questions has been removed to ensure tests can be created using any of the questions in the question bank without being limited to the ones tagged to specific units.
Mobile app:
- iOS and Android apps are available as part of this release.
- Learners will be able to see the list of courses they are enrolled for and can consume those using the app.
- They can also browse through all courses available in the library as well (the ability to self enroll will be added in the next release).
Important note
- If an older version of the Skill Lake mobile app is already installed, please ensure to remove it before installing the new version from InfinCE.
- The iOS app is currently not functional in iOS ver 14.3. The team is trying to fix it.
